CLINICAL AND CULTURAL SUPERVISION
The Bicultural perspective (Kaitiakitanga o ngā Māori me ngā Pākeha)
Nau mai haere mai (Welcome)! Thank you for visiting CAM website!
We provide clinical and cultural advice / supervision from a bicultural professional social work perspective. This is to bring an awareness of safe clinical and cultural practice for practitioners not only providing social work but also practitioners involved in social services in the community.
In July 2019 the New Zealand Social Worker Registration Board (SWRB) requires Social Workers to show evidence of competence to work with Māori through education and training. CAM services are available for you to comply as a guide through the services that we offer.
PRACTICE SAFE SOCIAL WORK
We offer four unique packages tailored to every learning level.
Most organisational structures have a hierarchical infrastructure to progress ideas within social work / social services of clinical and cultural safety within our community and to monitor progress and changes for the benefit of their service users. We can support governance to do this and to adequately lead operational compliance to improve staff awareness towards safe and best practice.
